Day 1 | Thessaloniki - Rome - Naples - City tour.
Meeting at the airport ‘'Macedonia’' for our direct flight to Rome. Arrival, boarding the bus and direct departure for Naples. Arrival and we start our city tour. The Palazzo Reale, the Teatro San Carlo, the best opera house in Italy after Milan, the Pantheon, the Galleria Umberto, the old and the new Castle, and of course the Santa Lucia beach, are some of the city sights we will see. A tour of the city follows during which we will see its picturesque beach, the palace, Santa Lucia with its castle, the famous Santa Chiara and also whoever wishes can visit the famous Naples archaeological museum. One of the leading European Museums with exhibits such as the mosaic of Alexander the Great and the frescoes from the “Villa of Mysteries of Pompeii”. The museum exhibits incredible Greek and Roman artifacts from Greater Greece and the Mediterranean area in general. Then we will depart for our hotel. Check in to the rooms.
Day 2 | Naples - Capri.
Breakfast at the hotel and then transfer to the port to take the speedboat to the enchanting island of Capri (tickets included), which with its Roman villas, statues, baths, churches, hanging staircases leading to the sea amidst lush and colourful Mediterranean vegetation, is reminiscent of a scene from another era. Free time. Then a visit to Anticapri and a late afternoon return to Naples. In the evening free time in the historic centre.
Day 3 | Naples - Cruise Amalfi / Positano.
Breakfast and then we will depart for Salerno where we will take the speedboat for our cruise on the Tyrrhenian Sea (own tickets). Our first stop is Amalfi, built on the cove of the homonymous bay on the Amalfi Coast, one of the most stunning coastlines in Europe. On our walking tour we will see the stately houses and the Cathedral of St. Andrew with Byzantine, Arabic and Gothic architectural elements. Free time and then we will visit the picturesque Positano, a terrace settlement in the endless blue. Free time to walk through its narrow cobbled streets. We will then return to Naples.
Day 4 | Naples - Pompeii - Rome.
Breakfast and then continue to the archaeological site of Pompeii, declared by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site. In the following tour we will see, among other things, the Porta Marina, the ancient market, the theatre, the temples of Zeus and Apollo, the baths, the luxurious villas with their famous frescoes (1st century BC), which provide us with a complete picture of the painting of the ancient world. We depart for Rome. Arrival and check-in at our hotel.
Day 5 | Rome - City tour.
Breakfast and depart for the city centre to begin our walking tour of the famous Trevi Fountain where we can toss a coin making a wish, which according to tradition will bring us back to Rome. A little further on is the famous Piazza di Spagna , where the famous fashion shows are held. Next is one of the most beautiful and charming sights in Rome, the Pantheon , a pagan temple more than 2000 years old, dedicated to all the gods, so well preserved that it is still considered today, one of the most important architectural buildings in the Western world. Next we will see the Palazzo Montecitorio or the Parliament of Rome where the original column of Hadrian is located. We will then pass by the beautiful and charming Navona square which is filled with restaurants and outdoor painters. This was the site of sporting events in the 1st century AD. In the square we will admire the three fountains with the most impressive being the famous Fountain of Bernini, of the four rivers with each of the statues representing a river from a different continent. Free time in this unique square where you will find many restaurants and cafes to combine your lunch and coffee with a unique point of beauty. Return to our hotel. For those who wish we suggest an optional night tour of the illuminated sights of Rome, to see it as it deserves with illuminations and colors that will be unforgettable. We will cross the ViaVeneto with its famous cafes and hotels, symbol of Italy's dolce vita, the fountain of Triton, climb one of the 7 mythical hills, the Cyrenaun, where the presidential palace dominates, and then head to PiazzaVenezia, the center of Rome with its uniquely illuminated monument to the unification of Italy. We will pass by the largest Roman amphitheatre, the illuminated Colosseum and finally we will stop in Trastevere, one of the most picturesque and cosmopolitan neighborhoods of Rome for a drink by the banks of the Tiber River. Free time and then back to the hotel.
Day 6 | Rome - Return flight.
Breakfast and free time for a last walk around the Eternal City. We will then depart for the airport for our return flight
