Day 1: Flight from Athens to Bali
Noon flight via Shanghai to the island of the Gods, exotic Bali.
Day 2: Bali
Arrival in Bali. After formalities and baggage collection, meet our local guide. During your transfer to the hotel you will receive the initial basic information about the island and daily activities. Check in to your room and free time for rest or swimming in the Indian Ocean. We recommend you to visit the Bali Collection, close to your hotel with a wide variety of restaurants and shops.
Day 3: Central & North Bali Excursion.
Breakfast. Departure at 08.30-09.00 from the hotels and visit the island's most important attraction, the iconic Tanah Lot temple, built on a cliff in the Indian Ocean. Continue through the island's magnificent landscapes and villages to the beautiful Beratan Lake in Bedugul district, to tour the majestic Ulun Danu temple. The location is unique as there are four mountains and volcanoes around it, creating a stunning atmosphere and scenery. Next stop is a spice and herb garden, where you will sample local tea and coffee, and of course the world famous luak coffee. Objective: The tour will introduce you to the culture of Bali, visiting some of the island's top temples. You will also learn more about the secret world of the Baharians. Easy tour with longer transfers.
Day 4: South Bali excursion - Uluvatu Temple & cosmopolitan Kuta & Seminyak coasts.
Breakfast at the hotel. Today you will discover the best of South Bali. You will visit the famous Uluwatu temple in the southwesternmost point of Bali. Next stop is the cosmopolitan beaches of Kuta and Seminyak, Bali's market and entertainment centre, where you can wander the streets lined with wonderful shops, cafes and local restaurants. Enjoy magnificent sunsets from the Ku.De.Ta or Potato Head lounge bar and relax with your first Balinese massage. Return to the hotel.
Day 5: Bali, Nusa Dua
Breakfast and free day to enjoy your hotel facilities or visit some of the wonderful beaches of the Bukit Peninsula, with a choice of water activities. Alternatively, we suggest you visit one of the theme parks, or take one of the suggested activities or excursions, such as the full day cruise to Lembongan or Nusa Penida islands. It's worth having a cocktail at the Ayana resort and the famous Ayana Rock Bar, overlooking the Balinese sunset, before ending up at Jimbaran beach with its famous lobster restaurants. Alternatively you can opt for the Canggu area with some of the top beach clubs.
Day 6: Excursion to the best of Ubud (waterfalls & rice paddies).
Breakfast and room delivery. Depart at 08.30-09.00 for the highlands of Ubud, the cultural centre of the island. First stop is the impressive Tegenungan waterfall, which you will admire through a magnificent tropical setting. Next stop the village of Tampak Siring, where you will see the Tirta Empul temple with its sacred spring water and the palace built by Indonesia's first president. Continue to the spectacular Tegelalang rice fields, one of the main tourist attractions in Bali, north of Ubud. For the adventurous, we recommend bali swing or flying fox, with panoramic views of the spectacular terraces. Continue to your hotel in Ubud. Destination: The tour will introduce you to the wonderful hinterland of Bali and its cultural center of Ubud village.
7+8th day: Bali, Ubud.
Breakfast and two free days to enjoy the enchanting nature, colorful villages, mystical temples and open-air markets of the Balinese hinterland. Walk through the village of Ubud and bargain in its open-air market, visit the Blanco Museum and tour inside the Royal Palace. Don't also miss the Monkey Sanctuary Forest, a protected area where you'll see and play with the macaques. For those who like adventure and adrenaline, we recommend rafting on the Ayung River or visiting the elephant theme park in Taro or the wildlife park of Bali Safari & Marine Park. We also suggest you take a full day trip to the east coast with a visit to Besakih Temple or for hiking enthusiasts, choose to hike the Campuhan trail or trek to Batur Volcano for a unique sunrise experience. End the day with a refreshing Balinese massage.
Day 9: Bali - flight to Shanghai
Breakfast and room delivery. Transfer to the airport to board the direct flight to Shanghai. Arrive and meet our local representative. In recent years, this former fishing village has emerged as one of the largest and richest cities in the world, offering countless attractions and local experiences. Transfer to our hotel and settle into your room.
Day 10: Shanghai, City Tour.
Breakfast followed by the city tour, where you will experience the colonial and historical centre. You will start with a visit to the Shanghai Oriental Museum, where you will learn about China's rich history. Then enjoy the stunning views of the towering skyscrapers of Lujiazui. Walk along the famous Bund area and soak up the vibrant atmosphere of Nanjing Street, the city's commercial paradise.
Day 11: Shanghai, continuation of the tour & return flight
Start your morning leisurely, perhaps with a cup of coffee at a local café or a quiet stroll around the city. Breakfast and room handover at 12.00 (you can leave your luggage in the special storage area). Continue with the city tour with a visit to Yu Garden, a peaceful escape in the urban fabric. Afterwards, you will explore the bustling Old City Bazzar for a taste of local delicacies. Your day will end in Xintiandi, where the combination of old and new Shanghai creates a unique urban atmosphere. In the late afternoon, you will be transferred to Pudong International Airport to board your direct flight back home.
Day 12: Arrival in Greece.
In the morning you will arrive back home full of wonderful images and memories.
