Day 1 | Thessaloniki - Paris - City tour.
Early morning meeting at the airport ‘'Macedonia’' for our direct flight to Paris. Arrival and immediately we will start our tour of the city of light. We will visit Notre Dame de Paris and the historic Sorbonne University to reach the Pantheon, burial place of the most illustrious Frenchmen. We will then admire the gardens and palace of Luxembourg, home to the Senate of France. We will then drive to the St. Germain neighborhood with its popular cafes de Mago and de Flor, and the Church of St. Germain. We will then pass by the Orsay Museum, the beautiful Alexander III Bridge, the Palais des Appommes, and the tomb of Napoleon I to conclude our tour with the city's landmark, the Eiffel Tower. Continuing our tour, we will admire the Star Square, dominated by the largest triumphal arch in the world. In Omonia Square we will see the French Parliament, Luxor's Obelisk, Bernini's Baroque Fountains, the Keramikos Gardens and the Portokaleonas. Approaching the commercial centre of the city, we will pass by the Church of St. Magdalene and the Opera Garnier, the National Academy of Music and Place Vendôme. Then check-in at our hotel. In the evening we suggest, optional tour of illuminated Paris. We will visit the highest natural point of the city, the hill of Montmartre, dominated by the Basilica of the Sacre Coeur (Sacred Heart) with its spectacular view, the square of the sub-atrium painters and the residence of Salvador Dali. Time at your disposal to stroll through the quaint Parisian shops of the square.
Day 2 | Paris - Louvre Museum.
Breakfast and depart for the world's most brilliant museum, the Louvre Palace, where you will be impressed by its entrance, the massive glass pyramid built in 1989 on the purpose of the famous architect Pei to let sunlight penetrate down to the basement. Those who wish to join our guided tour, with an official local guide and with headphones for better observation, will admire, world masterpieces of art in the Greek and Roman antiquities section where over 300 Greek ancient artworks are on display. There in a privileged position at the top of a staircase we will admire the Victory of Samothrace, then Aphrodite of Milos, “Hercules and the Bull of Crete” (from the Temple of Zeus at Olympia), the Labattines and the Centaur Battle (parts of the Parthenon). Michelangelo's two famous sculptures, “The Thneaskon” and “The Rebel” Slave. We will also take a close look at Leonardo da Vinci's enigmatic Joconda, the first work of art I entered the palace in the 16th century and today the most expensive painting in the world, as well as Jean-Louis Theodore's “The Drawing of the Medusa” and David's magnificent “The Coronation of Napoleon and Josephine” and many other valuable paintings of the Italian, French and Flemish schools, etc. Then free time.
Day 3 | Paris - Visit to Disney.
Breakfast and optional departure for the magical Disneyland. Here you will live like children in fairy tale land with Walt Disney's characters. Try a “flight into space” with the famous Star Tour, see Peter Pan, Pinocchio, Snow White, Mickey Mouse and Donald with their friends, Sleeping Beauty's tower, the Microcosm, the Wild West adventure on the riverboats, walk in the footsteps of Indiana Jones, Pirate Island, Thunder Mountain, ride the famous Carousel and enjoy strolling down Main Street with its many shops. In the late afternoon, don't miss the unique Dreams Sparkler Show. The dazzling spectacle leaves the adults with their mouths agape, while the little ones can't contain their excitement, jumping up and down, clapping their hands and laughing with excitement ! In the evening we will return to our hotel in Paris.
Day 4 | Paris - Bastille Square - Marais
Breakfast and then we will depart optionally for the Bastille Square, a very beautiful and important part of the city's history, the Bastille Square. A symbol of arbitrariness and oppression, it was occupied by the rebellious people of Paris on 14 July 1789. Its commander, Lonet, had ordered it to be fired upon by the crowds besieging it. The date of the fall of the Bastille, which marked for France the end of royal arbitrariness, was established as a national holiday in France from 1880. Afterwards we suggest a stroll through the more "Parisian'' neighbourhood of Pombidou and the central city hall of Paris . The Marais district is also known as SoMa (South Marais). It is full of trendy boutiques, galleries and bars. The area, once the Jewish quarter, is still filled with kosher restaurants. Then free time.
Day 5 | Paris - Return flight.
Breakfast and depart for the airport for your return flight.
